Matt Canale, MA, RP
Matt Canale is a graduate of Naropa University and earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling. Matt comes from a body-centered, mindfulness based therapeutic lens using an eclectic blend of therapeutic modalities to help clients expand their awareness and knowledge of self in order to grow.
As a Therapist Matt is very passionate about working with teens and kids in a supportive and compassionate way; focusing on healing through mindfulness, body-awareness, and authenticity. Matt has the ability to draw from past traumas and difficult experiences to relate with clients. He seeks to foster self-esteem, self-knowledge, and create a caring atmosphere for growth and self-development. As an active member of jiu-jitsu and yoga communities Matt understands the importance of developing mind-body connection as an essential tool for healing.
Lauren Fishbein, MA, RP
Lauren Fishbein is a Registered Psychotherapist who holds a degree from Naropa University, earning her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Mindfulness-based Counseling. She has been working with children and adolescents for the last 5 years and is passionate about helping children and teens heal from the inside out. Lauren is trained in Synergetic Play Therapy and uses a combination of neuroscience and mindfulness to work with clients. She believes that the body-mind connection is essential when it comes to healing, and deepening our connection with ourselves and others.
As an international adoptee, Lauren has dedicated her career to working with adoptees and their families. Helping them to have a greater understanding of what it means to be an adoptee or what it means to be a family member of someone who was adopted. While working with adoptees is a passion for Lauren, she also works with clients from all different backgrounds and welcomes any and all clients.
Lindsay Quella Kara Lam, LPC
Lindsay Quella Kara Lam is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Lindsay graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary in 2014. A lifelong learner, Lindsay is currently engaged in rigorous training as she works toward certification as a Synergetic Play Therapist.
Lindsay is passionate about helping every person she meets discover creative ways to navigate life stressors in order to experience joy and healing. Lindsay facilitates play therapy, offers practical parent coaching sessions, collaborates with individual adults, and works with entire families.
Lindsay often assists individuals of all ages as they navigate issues related to trauma recovery, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, behavioral challenges, family conflict, self-concept, and communication. Lindsay’s style of therapy is relational and compassionate. Lindsay loves watching clients uncover hidden strengths, learn tangible skills and open up to life with resilience and hope.
Kelly Miller, LCSW, RPT/S
Kelly Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT/S) a graduate of University of Denver with a Masters in Social Work, emphasizing in High Risk Youth. Kelly is Certified Synergetic Play Therapist/Supervisor, a Level II EMDR practitioner, and Parent Educator.
She has 12 years of experience working with pediatric mental health and families impacted by trauma. Kelly is deeply passionate about working with children and families. Her career is dedicated to helping them resolve challenges and promote change and healing from the inside out.
Erin Bennetts, LCSW, RPT
Erin Bennetts is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a graduate of University of Denver with a Masters in Social Work. Erin is a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist/Supervisor, and a Level II EMDR practitioner. Erin has 18 years of experience working in a variety of physical and mental health settings with children and families including acute and residential psychiatric hospitals, community mental health programs, emergency room, urgent care, intensive care, inpatient, primary care clinics, early childhood education centers and school based health centers.
Erin is deeply committed to helping children and their families integrate their experiences, follow their mind, body and spirits path toward health and wholeness, connect to self and others, and thrive in their relationships.
Beaux Williams, MSW Candidate
Beaux is a candidate for a masters in social work from the University of Denver, with a focus on risks and healthy development in children and youth. She earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University, where she studied behavioral science. Beaux has seven years of experience working with youth in Colorado in therapeutic settings. She has worked with children who are grieving from a death loss in a peer group therapy setting, as well as an individual setting with children living in a residential facility, who are faced with a variety of challenges. She is passionate about working with children and families impacted by trauma. Beaux hopes to one day integrate play therapy and animal-assisted interventions in a therapeutic setting.
Sharlyn Francis, MA
Marketing and Business Administrator
Sharlyn Francis earned her Master of Arts in Media and Communication after studying Advertising and Addiction Disorders as an undergraduate. After her newborn daughter spent two and a half weeks in the NICU, she became determined to get the word out about how Play Therapy can help heal children and families from the inside out.
Sharlyn spent the first four years of her marketing career in the retail sector and is thrilled to finally follow her passion to “help the helpers.”
