Beaux is a candidate for a masters in social work from the University of Denver, with a focus on risks and healthy development in children and youth. She earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University, where she studied behavioral science. Beaux has seven years of experience working with youth in Colorado in therapeutic settings. She has worked with children who are grieving from a death loss in a peer group therapy setting, as well as an individual setting with children living in a residential facility, who are faced with a variety of challenges. She is passionate about working with children and families impacted by trauma. Beaux hopes to one day integrate play therapy and animal-assisted interventions in a therapeutic setting.
